Studio 215 is looking for recording engineers to join our team and work closely with the artists who record through our studio. We’re looking for people who are serious about music, comfortable in a studio environment, and interested in building real relationships with artists over time.
This role goes beyond pressing record. Engineers at Studio 215 help shape the artist experience by running professional sessions, maintaining a productive studio environment, upholding studio policies, and continuing to grow their technical and musical skills. We’re open to engineers and producers at different experience levels, as long as you have a solid foundation, the right attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Record artists during studio sessions using Logic Pro or Pro Tools
Help manage sessions from setup through recording, organization, and file delivery
Create a professional, comfortable, and productive environment for artists
Build and maintain strong relationships with recording artists and clients
Uphold and enforce studio policies, room rules, and booking procedures
Keep sessions organized, on time, and technically smooth
Troubleshoot common recording, routing, and software issues when needed
Continue developing your recording, production, and musical skills
Must have your own laptop
Must use Logic Pro or Pro Tools
Must have some experience in recording, engineering, music production, or a related area
Basic understanding of recording fundamentals, studio workflow, and session organization
Strong communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work well with artists
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as an engineer and creative professional
Experience recording vocals, rap, singing, podcasts, or live instruments
Production, editing, comping, or rough mixing experience
Experience working in a commercial or shared studio environment
Existing relationships in the local music scene
